The most common goal of students of my mentorship program is to release the app they have been working on for weeks, months, or even years. Is that you?
From Idea to App Store is a three-month program to guide you from idea to published app. This is perfectly feasible if you have a basic understanding of Swift and Apple's frameworks. It is true that publishing your first app is a puzzle and it can be intimidating and overwhelming. Many developers get stuck in the process. This program is to get you unstuck and publish your first app in less than three months.
Who Is This For?
This program is for you if your goal is to publish your first app to the App Store. It doesn't matter if you have an idea, a proof of concept, an MVP (minimum viable product), or an app that is collecting dust on your hard drive. We get your app to the App Store. That is the primary goal.
Is This Free?
No. This program costs $800 per month. There are two reasons why it isn't free. First, I have bills to pay and that means I cannot offer this service for free. By charging for this program, I can dedicate time to help you publish your app. Second, because it's not free, you are (hopefully) motivated to get the most out of this program. Right?
What Is Included?
1:1 Sessions
We meet once per week for 30-60 minutes. We use this time to help you get unstuck and set milestones. We focus on what you need help with. This can be a brainstorm, a code review, or a pair programming session. We focus on that what moves the needle, that what takes you closer to your goal.
Support
You also have a direct line to me. You can email me with questions or concerns you have. From the moment you are stuck or need a soundboard, I'm there to help.
What Is Not Included?
I expect you to do the work. I won't be contributing to your app's codebase. I am here to guide you, but it is essential that you build the app from the ground up.
Availability
This program typically takes three months to complete, so every few months new slots open up. I can only guide a few people at a time. Interested? Get in touch to ask for my availability at bart at cocoacasts dot com.
