Apple introduced Developer Mode in iOS 16, iPadOS 16, and watchOS 9 to further protect the user's privacy and security. As a developer, you need to enable Developer Mode on your device (without Xcode) if you want to run your app on your device. This is easy to do.
iPhone and iPad
Open the Settings app on your device. Navigate to Privacy & Security.
Scroll to the Security section at the very bottom and tap Developer Mode.
Enable Developer Mode.
watchOS
The steps for watchOS are identical. Open the Settings app on your device. Navigate to Privacy & Security.
